Join us as our Business Development Officer, driving sustainable growth and revenue generation through identifying opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and implementing effective strategies with cross-functional teams to maximize market presence and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Identify and manage opportunities to upsell and grow client's existing services
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Collaborate with team to address client's needs
- Follow up and resolve areas of concern as raised by clients
- Manage the timeline and make sure the services are delivered on time and according to standard
- Conduct/inquire client satisfaction surveys and reviews
- Analyze sales and business development metrics to assess performance and make data-driven recommendations
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and achievements
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree (a degree related to Finance Accounting is a plus)
- Have min. 1 year experience in business development or client handling
- Excellent understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
- Excellent data management: organized, punctual, and accurate
- Experience in sales area is a plus: pitching, handling & convincing clients, closing/product selling, and dealing with rejection.
- Excellent in Ms. Office Suites (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google Workspace
- Fluent in English both oral & written
- Good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Fast learner, proactive, and self-motivated
