Currently looking for Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary For Maternity Leave)

Our client, an Australian based medium-sized multifaceted manufacturing & warehouse distribution company currently needs Accounts Payable Specialist positions (Temporary for maternity leave & remote working) to provide operational supplier invoice processing.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will be providing the following service to our client, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the stocks and non-stock suppliers' invoices are entered accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring Australian and Overseas suppliers are paid per agreed terms
  • Oversee daily transactions, investigate anomalies, and escalate where necessary to mitigate any potential risk to the business
  • Follow up variance between amount stock P.O and supplier invoices
  • Process supplier invoice in Pronto ERP system
  • Become a point of contact for the client's company suppliers
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing
  • Working closely with the financial accountant and treasury officer to ensure the accounting record accuracy
  • Supplier relationship management includes resolving and negotiating a solution with suppliers when required
  • Reconciling General Ledger accounts in relation to Trade Creditors
  • Work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reconciliation of suppliers' accounts
  • Reconciliation of purchase order for the upcoming invoices
  • Ad-hoc duties as required by the CFO.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Min. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Min. 3 years experience, or Diploma 3 with min. 6 years experience handling Accounts Payable in fast pace and voluminous stock supplier invoices
  • Active English communication is mandatory as daily communication will be in English
  • Understand the process workflow of the manufacturing and warehouse distribution organisation
  • Strong problem solving and analytics skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, Pronto Xi, Microsoft Business Central or NetSuite will be highly regarded
  • Familiar with AP Automation process workflow will be highly regarded
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel
  • Fast and accurate data entry speed
  • Ability to meet deadlines
